Lord do You not know what it is like to be depressed?
Why You never came I have guessed and guessed.
I called but You did not hear.
You just turned a deaf ear.
Lord what more can I do?
Must I wait forever on You?
Others, their prayers You have heard.
You do not answer when I pray and get into Your Word.
Why do You continue to make me wait?
Being like this I sure do hate.
You let things stay this same way.
You don't come; that means waiting another day.
Is there nothing more for me You will do?
You know being like this is torment to go through.
Why do You turn Your face from me?
Do You not want to look at the torment You will see?
Lord, there are things I just can't understand.
Since You are almighty and compass sea and land.
You have overlooked me all these years.
I am left depressed and fighting these fears.
Won't You come now and touch me?
So from this torment I can be free.
You see what is going on yet You make me wait. Maybe You aren't coming at all, or running late.
You have been faithful, over is your wait.
It is time for your breakthrough; I never run late.
There will be many now you can help along the way.
You are now prepared; you will be wise in what to say.
